issit just me or like 99% of the blogs out there is or has already had some mention about the transformers movie? so anyway since i just caught it, i thought i'd jump on the bandwagon and give my 2 sens on the movie as well.

all in all, i just have to say that this is an overly-hyped up movie. when i heard that transformers was coming out, i knew that it was gonna be stupid. i mean, a story with robots transforming into everyday objects is alright for a cartoon in the 80s, but a full fledged hollywood production with REAL people? i dont think so dude.. its just not gonna make any sense!

okay to cut things short i'm gonna just say that the movie kinda sucked!

the acting? BAD!

the storyline? BAD!

but the robots.. zomg! chi choo choo choot.. (the transforming sound, hehe)

its just freaking amazing the amount of detail they put into it. the spinning parts, the blinking lights. heck, they even have moving eyelids! and watching them transform is just freaking orgasmic! chi choo choo choot (i couldn't resist)

so to hell with actors and storyline i say! go watch it for the robots! i mean there's a reason to why they called it "the transformers", and not "a bunch of people with some alien robots" right?

of cos i'm right. now go watch it if u haven't. chi choo choo choot!

(but only if u're an 80s baby, cos without the sentimental factor, the movie would just suck. badly. really badly.)

oh yeah, during the fight sequence between prime and megatron, i found myself hoping that the producers would pay homage to the original cartoon movie by including the classic lines:

Megatron: Why do you throw your life away so recklessly?
Prime: That, Megatron, is a question you should ask yourself!

Those who watched the 1984 cartoon movie (my, has it been that long?) should remember this. Although Megatron did mutter something about why Prime cares about humans or something, but it just ain't the same.
