i admit that i'm a huge fan of the famous burberry plaid design, and its pretty disturbing to find out that burberry still uses real animal fur in the clothes.
i mean, i don't really know where i stand on this anti-fur protesting thingie, but i do know that in today's world of political correctness yada yada, u'd think that a company of burberry's stature would've long found an alternative material other than real fur right? apparently other designers like ann taylor, ralph lauren have stopped using fur a long time ago (i'd say to avoid the bad-press more than out of their own conscience, really)
well, i'd like to state for the record that i've never bought anything from burberry that contains fur, so please don't can-spray me just yet, hehe.
anyhoo, here's the link to bloobyburberry.com, which has more information if u're interested about how "cruel and inhumane" burberry is.
p/s: i've browsed the burberry collected on their site and i honestly couldn't find anything with fur in it (unless its in the lining..)
