a welcomed break
it was a public holiday yesterday (12th dec 2005) because it was the sultan of selangor's birthday on sunday, and therefore monday was a holiday. whoopie for me!
well it was certainly nice to wake up late on a monday morning, relax and just not think of work. so what a better way to relax than to catch a movie? (or in my case, TWO movies):
i caught probably the very last screening of chicken little in the whole damn malaysia at GSC midvalley at 11.05 am (!!!). wipe that look off ur face, like i said - it was probably the last screening for the whole damn malaysia. all TGVs in m'sia no longer shows it, and midvalley was only showing at 11.05 am and thats that. no more liao. so since i was so free, and it happened to be a habit to wake up at 7am every morning whether i'm working or not.. what the heck right? (pity lyn for apparently she isn't much of a morning person tho.. haha). anyway thought chic. little was really good, funny and entertaining - a perfect complement for my relaxing day off.
well than later on i caught aeon flux, starring charlize theron. need i say more? the show fking rocks yo! she's da bomb. the storyline was good - certainly didnt see the story ending up the way it did. although i have to say, if it was someone else playing aeon flux (the lead role), i somehow dont think the show would be that good. 'nuff said..
sigh, now just another 3 days to go til the weekends. i think i can, i think i can, i think i can....
