has it really been 10 years since the original jagged little pill? my my time reallie DOES fly. i still remember seeing her album review in this magazine called M3 (dont think it even exists anymore), and they rated her a full 5 stars. so because of that i went out and got it just to see if its really that good. i was surpised. i was good, real good - although it could be cos i never heard a chick curse in a song before. cool.. well, then needless to say some time later she started catching on with the masses and then i guess like they say, the rest is history. the legacy of an angry chick screaming her heart out was born.

anyway, just had to get this acoustic version the moment i saw it cos 1. i think this is still one of the better albums out there to-date and 2. i have this thing for acoustic songs. so what could be better than a the entire jagged album in acoustic. and after hearing it, wat can i say? its sweet man, sweet.. she doesnt seem to be that angry anymore, but its still all good. reallie brings back loads of memories listening to it. sigh..

although you know what they say, nothing marks the end of one's career more than a repackaged version of the album that made them big. well, u have to admit that alanis hasn't exactly been coming out with anything worth listening to lately so i guess it really applies for this case huh?

ah well, having said that i still think this album is good. so go out and get urself a copy. heck, go out get a few copies and give it out to ur mates for christmas. that way at least alanis will have some $$ for her xmas + new year party. heh.

p/s: after writing this post i remembered that i'm actually still keeping the ticket for her concert i went to in '96.
