yes kids, its that time of the year once again where every f1 fan in asia's gonna wake up ultra stoned on monday mornings because the race is back in north america, which is almost the opposite of our time and therefore the race only starts at midnight (1am for montreal, canada).

well anyway yesterday morning's race was actually really exciting (for a change), with a few safety cars incidences. the highlight of the race was robert kubica's (sauber bmw's 2nd driver) ultra horrendous crash, which i'm sure a lesser person would not have survived (by lesser i mean regular non-f1 drivers with average sized necks, hehe).

check it out:

whoa!

after head on unto the barricades on the left, he cartwheeled across the track and into the other barricades and landed sideways.. ouch

was a very tense and sombre atmosphere at this point, trust me (i thought he sure kiok liao)

the good news is that he got away virtually unscathed, save a broken leg (in f1 driver terms, i think thats very very minor, considering they FREAKING DRIVE AT 300+ KMPHS FOR 2 FREAKING HOURS!!)

but did anyone notice what medical support car was used this time?

lets take another look:

did u see it? its the new CRV! hehe..

oh yes, and lewis hamilton won his first race. i'm secretly* rooting for him to be the 1st rookie world champion - i'm sure that'd wipe that dumb smirk off alonso's face.

*secretly cos i cant root for him on without indirectly cheering on alonso. u'd know that if u read my earlier posts - shame on you.
