moving on....

so in the spirit of not breaking my weekend routine, i vegetated in front of the tv once again the entire weekend watching a record breaking 2 seasons of how *wait, here it comes* i met your mother (okay, u'd probably only get this if u watched the show). i actually kinda enjoyed it (duh, or else i wouldn't have sat thru a grueling 44 episodes right?).

whats it about u ask? well its a story about the love lives (or the lackthereof) of 5 friends in NYC. i know it sounds like friends, but this show actually has its own appeal. i especially like the way the creators made references about events that happened previously on later on episodes (i think u'll only understand wat i mean if u watch it). so do catch it and at least we'll have something to talk about.

okay, now back to work on a boring monday morning.. *yawn*

okay i really couldnt resist not posting up another hillarious remark from our favourite malaysian politician, nik aziz:



u know i'm like so convinced that these fellas just sit around all day brainstorming on what dumb comments should they come up with next, so that they dont get left out in the newspapers.

okay lotsa stuff happening over the weekend so here' s a recap of whats relevant to me (yes, i'm imposing that on u, bitches.. hee):

okay so rowlings dropped a bomb on us - apparently dumbledore's gay. yes, u read right. G-frickerty-A-Y. i can't for the love of me understand why in the world would she do that. dont get me wrong, its not that i have anything against gays, but why would u put a gay character into a children's book? dont think u parents all over the world are going to have a hard time explaining the concept of gays to their 3 yr olds?! (well maybe she was merely just taking the lead of LOTR, which had gays in 90% of their characters.. hehe). see the article here

next comes the definite highlight to my weekend..

KIMI RAIKONNEN WON THE F1 DRIVER'S CHAMPIONSHIP!!



whats amazing about this was that not only his chances were practically zero halfway thru the season, he turned that around spectacularly in the end. okay so technically he was handed the championship by hamilton who lead the championship thruout the season, only to (i can't stress on this enough) MAJESTICALLY screw it all up at the end.

the irony of it all is that mclaren, who were so confident in sealing both championships just a few months earlier, walked away with absolutely NOTHING this season except for the 100 million fine. hohoho! so maybe now ron dennis and hamilton and wipe that stupid smirk of their faces.

this has been an excellent season, with genuine head-to-head motor racing, inter-team politics and even a touch of corporate espionage to boot! lets all just hope that next year would be equally as interesting..

okay finally caught the latest Heroes and Grey's over the wkend, but somehow feel that both shows have kinda lost its ummph. doesnt matter though as there doesnt seem to be any nicer shows to watch.

okay enough of my ranting on this cold, rainy and sleepy monday morning.. time to get back to work!~

KEMAMAN: She felt a warm body next to her. Thinking it was her husband, she did what came naturally. Not until her husband entered the room and asked her about a man he had seen walking out of the room did she realise that she had had sex with another man.

The housewife, 40, then lodged a report at the Cukai police station at 5.30pm alleging she had been raped.

Police later arrested the couple's friend, a 29-year-old labourer, who had been staying with them over the past two months.

The woman said she went to bed in their Chuping home about 5am on Friday after making preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations. Her husband had gone to work earlier.

About an hour later, she claimed, she felt a man next to her and she proceeded to make love to him. She claimed she did not see his face.

When her 34-year-old husband walked into the room a little later, she said she was surprised to see him in his work clothes.

The couple had allowed the suspect to stay with them because he was a colleague of the husband.
Police are investigating the case under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape. State deputy CID chief, Superintendent K. Manoharan said police were also looking into the claims made by the woman.
