HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

u guys are never gonna guess wat i've been up to today .. not only i didn't leave my house at all today, i actually sat thru a halloween sitcom marathon on starworld. now this marathon REALLY is a marathon - started off at about 2pm, all the way to 9pm! with shows like just shoot me, the drew carey show, that 70s show and 13 (yes, thirteen!!) the simpson halloween episodes (!!!!). as if its not bad enough that i've been a lifeless healthy person, i've just became an ultra lifeless sick person. i really hope i get well soon..

shite! been having this sore throat, flu and light-headedness for the past few days. i just know that i'm going to fall ill, and therefore have been taking steps to ensure that i don't.. but somehow i'm wondering if i should just let it run its course. its cos i feel its just getting worst bit by bit, day by day .. sigh. right now i've got the cough and a blocked nose. sigh, this sucks. as if sleeping at 10pm (yes, 10 pm!!) the last few days wasn't bad enough, i've decided to stay in tonite too cos i'm just so sure drinking (read: alcohol) is just going to bring that fever thats lurking silently in the background about at full swing.

my life is sad.

kinda just realised that its that time of the year whereby most australian unis are having their final exams. all i can say is GOOD LUCK to u guys that are having ur exams right about now.

anyway i've said this before and i'm gonna say it again: i'm sure u'll do alright .. dont really think i can do much to help u guys out much, cos i think most of u out there are better students than i was back in skool.. haha. most of u should know wat i'm talkin about.

i'll say it once again: u know u lead a boring life when all that appears in ur blogs are the latest movies u watch. but hey, i actually had a great time yesterday ok? i actually watch TWO movies yesterday .. movie marathons rule! well, wat happened was u know how difficult it is to get tickets for movies on a saturday and i was fortunate enough to be presented with a chance to either watch White Chicks at 4 or Bourne Supremacy at 7. hmmm.. which should i choose? heck, why not take both? heck, there's even time for a quick dinner in between movies .. so thats what we did. well, come to think of it no big deal cos its not the 1st marathon i did - check my earlier post if u dont believe how lifeless i can get =P

so anyway lets just move on to the inevitable, how was the movies. i thought white chick's storyline was just plain ridiculous. well, for the benefit of those who have no idea wat the story's about.. its about 2 FBI agents who goes undercover as this 2 rich white chicks that somebody wants to kidnap. now how are they gonna pull that off u ask? well, they use rubber masks (think mission impossible, minus the fancy voice altering gadgets - just masks that bear very little similarity with the real person). the weirdest part is that although the 2 of them looks so damn fake, everyone seems to be taken in with their 'disguise'. and even when they're standing next to the real person, everyone is like "gasp, there's 2 of them!!". go figure.. but all in all, as dumb as the movie sounds (and trust me.. it is DUMB), i have not laughed so hard at a movie for such a long time (laugh factor surpasses even dodgeball). however, its definitely not necessary to spend ur money/time at the cinemas .. DVDs should suffice.

next comes Bourne Supremacy. now this is good. although i personally feel that the camera-work during the chase-scenes are a lil too jerky (very much like blair witch project), and tends to go on for a lil too long (headache.. headache) but the total package: storyline, characters .. everything just comes together to deliver a very good watch.. i highly recommend it. for my more clueless readers.. this is a sequel to Bourne Identity, so therefore it would actually help if u were to watch the 1st one so that the 2nd one actually makes sense. hahahahhhhahaa ...

*sigh* u know that u're leading a boring life when all u got to put into ur blogs are what movies have u been watching lately - which is precisely what i've been doing lately. lame huh? well, lets get on with it shall we..? well, i watched Resident Evil: Apocalypes yesterday and all i can say is i'm just sooOOOoooo disappointed. i mean after the 1st movie, i was just so waiting for the sequel but its just so obvious that the directors just ran outta steam on this one. everything that made the whole resident evil package (both the video games and the 1st movie) such a success they just seemed to miss out on this 2nd movie. not only that the walking dead weren't THAT much of the focus of this movie, there just wasnt that suspense and that-oh-horrible anticipation factor. the effects were so so.. storyline's typical video game-like, so honestly there's nothing much that makes this movie remotely worth ur 10 bucks. oh wait, there was the 2 chicks .. milla jovovich and i dunno wats the other ones name. incidently i just feel that although milla is pretty sexy, my eyes was firmly affixed on jill valentine which's played by sienna guillory - just got to know this from the movies official website which i have opened on the other window (never heard of/seen her before this though).

in short, although this show isnt THAT good .. i think its still worth watching (not only cos of the chicks, excuse me), but solely on the fact that it just isn't THE worst movie in the cinemas now.. but its certainly way up there on the 'most dissapointing' list.

dodgeball!

just watched ben stiller's dodgeball n i think its just great - another one of those low involvement comedies thats just a perfect watch for a sunday nite (especially since there's that inevitable dread to get back to work tomorrow.. sigh). although i feel that ben stiller's finally coming to a point where he's well, just not THAT funny anymore. don't get me wrong, dodgeball will still have u in stitches, but there's just something about him thats just well.. borderline slapstick ala jim carrey. it could be just his character in this movie, so lets just give him some credit for yet another movie that i thoroughly enjoyed.

on another note: i finally discovered WinMX, a P2P program that works like a hundred times better than kazaa (which incidently is just crap). thanks lyn! u da best .. now what was that chillout stuff u've been recommending me to download again? =)

the guy game

how many of u out there heard of this game? apparently its supposed to be some summer game thingie played at the beach (or something like that) whereby a group of gals will be asked random trivia questions and if they cant answer correctly, they have to flash everyone their boobies. interesting huh? hahaa, its pretty stupid actually.. but it can be fun if it comes in the form of a PS2 game.. which just so happen a fren got for me. how it works is this: a question is asked and u wager a certain amount of money out of a initial $5k that u have to start with. u can also wager a smaller amount to bet if the chick will answer the same question correctly. well, i guess everyone just wants to see boobies, cos i doubt the trivia part of the game is the actual deal clincher.

wats the point of this blog? hmm.. i have no idea. heck, i dont even know wat the gals are supposed to get if they were to get the answers correct. now lemme get back to playin my PS2 =)

television today: u likes..?

i dunno wats it about smallville, but i just love it. well, maybe its cos i think lana (played by kristin kreuk) is just soooo hot *dreamy sigh* i think i'm in loooOOOoovee.. haha. i know, it maybe a lil teeny bopper-ish, but then again i think its much much better than those crap reality shows they keep showing on tv. i mean, u'd think that one season of "for money or love" was enough, they had to come up with season 2 and 3!! wat up with that? how screwed up can the world be that everyone finds watching others suffering entertaining? hmm.. this is just sad.

hahaha.. talkin bout reality shows, i just saw the trailer ad for "the simple life" starring Paris Hilton and her bud, something Richie (i think she's lionel richie's daughter or something). wat happens on the show is that this 2 rich bimbos have to endure 30 days without cellphones, credit cards or money and live on the farm or something.. sigh, how STUPID is that?! n they're not even that hot! unlike kristin kreuk.... sigh =)
